The newly revised version of A.R. Gurney’s play The Old Boy has announced a one week extension at its off-Broadway home at the Clurman Theater in Theatre Row. The production will now run through March 30 (instead of March 24), with opening night set for March 5.
This new take on Gurney’s 1991 drama—about a successful politician who discovers he may have been responsible for his best friend’s death—stars Peter Rini and Laura Esterman and features Cary Donaldson, Marsha Dietlein Bennett, Chris Dwan and Tom Riis Farrell.
Jonathan Silverstein directs the Keen Company production, which features set design by Steven Kemp, costumes by Jennifer Paar, lighting by Josh Bradford and sound and original music by Ryan Rumery.
